Fu Bar’s new Wednesday night - Bringing the Bass to Wednesdays. There will be a diverse assortment of DJ’s playing Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Grime, Dancehall, Reggae and Hip Hop. We will have drink specials and Fu Bar/Zen ticket giveaways every Weds.

Dubstep Alliance 013 features NIELSC up from Wanaka where he reps for Wanaka Beats Fm and the Subtle Soundsystem when in Christchurch. We heard him play a wicked support set for Garage Pressure and were so impressed it was decided then and there to get him up to play a headline set at Alliance. On the night we will also have the ones like Shutta, OoGuN, Seeka and Dapht One armed and ready to bring the heavy.. Shall be a goodun !

The Wheel legacy continues into its fourth edition, having brought three memorable parties to the 2008 Dub step calendar already. Host and resident DJ Jason Howson invites back dub alliance and K FM’s DUB CONSULTANT radio host Seeka, alongside his co-host Lowquid for a battle royal wheel style. Rounding out this month’s lineup is two of the hottest local DJ / producers right now, namely Frosty boy & Future one. Fresh from sets at DMZ founder and resident Loefah’s recent visit to NZ shores, both promise fresh dubs for the evening, amongst a set of international exclusives. Be warned. When its sounds nice we play it twice!
