COTTI

Cotti is an established producer / DJ / MC and one half of -30 record label (minus 30) alongside his good friend, Cluekid. Cotti also runs his own solo label “bassface” launched in 2007 and is the head man of the “sumting new” movement launching in 2009. Growing up around music he started to experiment from a young age, starting off writing lyrics he then moved in to music production. Being the instigator of the south London based, “4n format crew” (grime) in 2004. 4n format began playing at “on top FM 95.50″ then landed a set on the world famous “Rinse FM 100.4″ in early 2006.
Cotti started out making garage/grime around 1999, then in 2005 he met up with DJ Chef who introduced him to the dubstep sound. Following on from this, Cotti and Cluekid met up with Loafah (dmz) who showed them more of an insight on making & exploring the dubstep sound, which helped them to really get involved in the emerging dubstep scene. He has also worked with some of grime & dubsteps most respected artists & producers such as; Skream, Jammer, Roll deep, Newham Generals, Plastician, J Sweet, Doctor, Bearman, Big Narstie, l man, Aaron soul, Ironsoul/Kromestar and many more!
Cotti has previously released a grime EP and a mix CD in 2006 available in all Londons independent record shops & 3 separate 12″ vinyl dubstep dance floor bangers, “Sensi dub”, “I don’t give a dub” & “the legacy”, which had gone on worldwide to sell thousands of units in 2007 alone. Cotti also has a track featuring on the massive “Box of dub 2″ album (dubstep & future dub) released on Souljazz records track entitled “let go mi shirt” plus another track featured on the “fabriclive 37″ compilation by Caspa & Rusko also released in 2007. The sensi fuled dubstepper has been playing his sound/dubstep in clubs not only in and around London but in many other countries as far away as Australia, New Zealand, Holland, France, Poland, Germany, Serbia, Romania, Finland, Belgium, hungry, Scotland and Ireland where he has had a rapid response about his productions and his individual sound.
Cotti has also played at the massive dmz @ the Brixton mass, fabric nightclub (London), dubloaded in Bristol, exodus vs dmz in Leeds & for channel 4 slash music just to name a few, not to mention the many festivals around the world Cotti has showcased his production and DJ skills making his sets second to none.

TES LA ROK

Tes La Rok is a Dubstep DJ & music producer from Helsinki, Finland. He was one of the first international producers outside of England to make a mark in the international Dubstep scene. Tes has been featured on a variety of respected compilations such as Steppas Delight on Soul Jazz Records, Dubstep Allstars 5 on Tempa, Mary-Anne Hobbs “Evangeline” on Planet Mu and Mixmag 25 years anniversary mix (mixed by Laurent Garnier). He is also the man behind record label ‘Noppa Recordings’.
For the past decade Tes La Rok has been one of the pioneers in Helsinki underground music culture by holding various raves such as ‘Slam It’, ‘Soulfuel’, ‘Back 2 Bass’ & ‘Sub’.
His first ever release was on respected “Audio Couture” (sister label of Moving Shadow) label back in 1998 - under Dice moniker with his partner in crime Dharma1. Shortly after Dharma1 introduced Tes to UK garage & Broken-beat.
Tes La Rok released Uncle Sams “Around The World Girls remix” in 2007 and it immediately received anthem status and was later selected as the best Dubstep tune of 2007(alongside Mala’s Lean Forward) on Dubstepforum awards. Tes La Rok is one to watch - he is leading the way into the future of dubstep music with his enthusiasm and hard work.
He has frequent DJ appearances in the UK at clubs such as DMZ, FWD, SUBDUB, PLATFORM 1. Along with his regular UK shows Tes La Rok has also played at all the big raves in Germany, USA, Netherlands, Belgium, , Portugal and Croatia to name a few.
If you like high-pitched, ‘refined’ sort of dubstep and sleazy basslines, you’ll enjoy Tes la Rok. And if you’d like to tell people you listen to foreign dubstep artists this will get you bonus points. Where to start off? By listening to Gunshot and Lickshot (which got featured on N-Type’s ‘Dubstep Allstars Vol. 5‘ as well).

COTTI, all the way from Brixton South London.

Cotti is an established producer / DJ / MC and one half of -30 record label (minus 30) alongside his good friend, Cluekid. Cotti also runs his own solo label “Bassface” launched in 2007.

Cotti grew up around music, and was very keen to experiment from a young age. He started off writing lyrics, then moved into music production. Cotti formed the south London based “4n format crew” (grime) in 2004. 4n format began playing at “on top FM 95.50″ then landed a set on the world famous “Rinse FM 100.4″ in early 2006.

Cotti had started out making garage/grime around 1999, then in 2005 he met up with DJ Chef who introduced him to the dubstep sound. Following on from this, Cotti and Cluekid met up with Loafah (DMZ) who showed them more of an insight on making & exploring the dubstep sound, which helped them to get involved in the emerging dubstep scene.

Throughout 2007 Cotti became one of the movements most sought after DJ/producers, with his tracks ‘Sensi Dub’ & ‘I Don’t Give a Dub’ recorded as the biggest selling dubstep releases of 2007, not to mention ‘The Legacy’, and ‘Mozart 3000′ becoming bass rider anthems in their own right. The first half of 2008 saw his productions gain support from all the big name DJ’s on the circuit.

Thanks to the encouragement of Mary Anne Hobbs, BBC Radio 1, Cotti’s productions ‘Let Go Mi Shirt’ & ‘The Search’, both Breezeblock Bombs, eventually had full releases on Soul Jazz Recordings.

2008 also saw the release of the long awaited collaboration with Doctor, namely ‘Calm Down’, a track that has pushed the creative boundaries of the sound, with its original vocal production & the technique of blending dubstep, grime, dub, and dancehall into a single riddim.

He rolled through Auckland in October 2008 - if you missed that, he’s your chance for some redemption.

They are gonna a partial live set using live synths as well as live remixing they will be laying down a set full of huge Dubstep and DnB tunes!
