It’s pretty freaking exciting to witness the birth of a whole new
genre that is dubstep, and watching it continue to get better and
better makes me happy like a mother seeing her baby walk for the first
time…

Although new and challenging, there is something strangely familiar
about the album. It is articulately produced, and is layer upon layer
of glitches, bleeps, dirty funk breaks, dubby drum fills, Tubby-like
spring reverbs, jazz flutes, freeform brass, broken 2 step, and
abstract half step beats.

There is a very old feel to the album, and I find myself being
reminded of the early electronic sound of the Boards of Canada, Aphex
Twin, Autechre and Amon Tobin.
It’s a fantastic album which you will want to just pick apart, because
it’s definitely not one to just kick back and chill to…
